Monte Nido Virtual East Coast Program is a primary eating disorder day treatment program exclusively for aadults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, clients participate in group and individual therapy, benefit from Monte Nido's clinical, medical, psychiatric and nutritional expertise and experience real life challenges.
We are seeking a Virtual Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team.

Candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S. however working hours are East Coast.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for providing a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
2. Models therapeutic eating habits with clients by eating provided programmatic meals and snacks aligned
with company's nutrition philosophy to completion throughout shift.
3. Monitors patient safety (including eating disordered behaviors) during the program day and intervenes with
recovery-focused directives when appropriate.
4. Monitors bathroom activities and break times during the day.
5. Documents in daily reports and patient meal logs, all information, interactions, communications, behaviors
and interventions in a timely fashion.
6. Run one to two groups weekly as appropriate based on education level and skillset.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. Participates in weekly to bi-weekly staff meetings to continue personal and professional growth as well as
building cohesion amongst the treatment team.
2. Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of a patient's total needs as a person, and addresses
psychosocial, physical, developmental, spiritual, and cultural issues as appropriate for each individual.
3. Has working knowledge of the program's emergency protocols.
4. Adheres to and follows the Monte Nido & Affiliates polici.es and procedures, including work schedule, time
and attendance, and time off.
5. Uses tact and sensitivity in communicating effectively and respectfully with patients, families, co-workers
and all others.
6. Provides for maintenance of confidentiality of patient records and communications.
7. Maintains the values and philosophy of the mission statement of the Monte Nido & Affiliates.
8. Recommends quality and/or process improvement initiatives in order to more effectively and efficiently
perform the job functions of this position.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Psychology preferred.
• Two years of office-related experience in the healthcare field. At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid state-issued Driver's License with safe driving history.
• We require good communication and client relations skills; neat appearance; service orientation; flexibility; and the ability to work as a member of a team.
