The Estimator will be responsible for estimating duties which include recording precast concrete material types and quantities, preparing accurate cost estimates based upon company standards and guidelines, writing proposals and qualifications that are job specific, and submitting cost estimates for bidding. Job Duties: Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.Maintains complete and accurate estimating files and bid log as directed by the company.Preparation of detailed quantity takeoffsObtain pricing for materials.Obtain bids from subcontractors.Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable.Develop updated costing for current jobs under contract.Building relationships, showing leadership and collaborationAttend departmental meetings as required.
