Summary: The Golden Apple Foundation is seeking a Data and Analytics Manager to assist in

managing and utilizing our data. The Data and Analytics Manager will work with the Golden

Apple team to use accurate data to make data-informed recommendations that support our

Foundation’s mission.


Reports To: The Director of Research, Analytics, and Accountability


Responsibilities:

● Develop a thorough understanding of the data structure of all program participant and

stakeholder data, in all regions, and how it is stored in the system-of-record (i.e.,

Filemaker Pro).

● Manage the maintenance of program participant data and other stakeholder data in the

system-of-record.

● Support and collaborate with teams in multiple regions with data collection and analysis.

● Continuously seek out ways to improve data collection and analysis.

● Manage program participants’ tuition assistance processes.

● Manage annual program audits.

● Support the success and continuous improvement of Golden Apple's summer

professional development for program participants through data collection and

management.

● Support program participants’ learning by using data to identify strengths and areas of

growth.

● Manage Golden Apple's professional development event app, leveraging feedback and

insight from Golden Apple team members.

● Collaborate with team members to lead and implement surveys and analyze professional

development feedback from all stakeholders.

Draft, revise, and produce summary reports of stakeholder surveys and feedback and

present to Golden Apple Leadership Team.

● Use data to inform program recommendations.


Skills and Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information technology, mathematics, math or

science education, computer science, or a related field.

● At least 3 years of experience in data management and analytics or related fields.

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Filemaker Pro experience is a plus, but

not required.

● Excellent organizational skills, ability to follow processes, and attention to detail

● Proficient client-facing skills, including ability to communicate analytical and technical

concepts in an easy to understand fashion.

● Experience designing relevant technical professional development.

● Strong problem-solving skills; ability to reflect on processes and make improvements.

● Willingness to learn, ask questions, and evolve.

● Ability to work self-directed and collaborate with a team.

● Strong entrepreneurial attitude including drive for results and proven ability to stay

focused on goals; ability to prioritize competing priorities and meet deadlines.

● Strong written communication and presentation skills.

● Strong computer and internet proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office,

Google G-Suite, and database applications.

● Experience working in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround environment.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Experience in K-12 education strongly preferred.
