RSVP Gallery Design Assistant

An opportunity to join the RSVP launch, and work within a highly creative and collaborative team.

Based in Los Angeles, the company houses all design, development, pattern and sample-making.

• In partnership with the Design Director, participate in and develop seasonal collections for the brand,
• Create and maintain technical drawings and specifications for products, working directly with the pattern team to create the collection.
• Conduct material research and sourcing for prototypes and final production.
• Conduct fittings and make adjustments to prototypes for optimal fit and comfort.
• Review and approve product samples for quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of design concepts, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Assist in the development of style guides and design documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure smooth product execution.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple calendars.
• Liaise with suppliers to source materials and components for products.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure products are manufactured to the required standard.
• Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure products meet customer needs and are effectively promoted.
• Manage product development timelines and ensure products are delivered within to market calendar.

Qualifications:

• Degree in fashion design or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in apparel design.
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
