Acts as a liaison between SSLC Division leadership and discipline heads, the state supported living centers leadership and staff, Integrated Resident Information System (IRIS) Information Technology (IT) support, local IT support, Enterprise Access Management (IAM), Customer Service Help Desk (CSHD), HHSC Network IT and outside vendors to coordinate the service request life cycle for issues related to the SSLCand#146;s electronic health records (EHR). Serves as a subject matter expert, providing consultative and technical assistance to SSLC facility leadership and all levels of users. Conducts reviews into simple, complex and/or specialized issues/questions and provides recommendations to resolve issues. Receives and examines potential customer-related service requests for changes/optimizations to the EHR and facilitates a resolution in accordance with the complexity of the issue. Prior to change implementation coordinates/facilitates user acceptance testing and ensures training or instructions to end users is provided. For proposals or contract amendment requests, reviews design documentation and facilitates collaborative proposal evaluation. Assists in ensuring the contractor is held accountable for timely performance, coordinates with the vendor, HHSC IT and local SSLC IT staff for all upgrades and changes and ensures the scheduling of a system-wide refresh of each of the domains after the upgrade. Identifies opportunities for improving business processes.
