Housing Specialist

LaSalle Network has partnered with a temporary housing company that helps displaced renters and homeowners find shelter after natural disasters hit. They are seeking a Housing Specialist to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent role, full time in St. Charles, IL.
Housing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Search for rental properties that match the criteria of policy holders for temp housing using search tools such as Zillow
• Follow up with the landlords to negotiate leases and get additional details on the property and lease
• Maintain monthly tracking spreadsheets
• Update shared database to track progress daily
• Communicate detailed and accurate property information to teammate
• Facilitate communication between parties involved in the property sourcing process

Housing Specialist Requirements:

• 2+ years of job-related experience preferred
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
• Database experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, very organized, have strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and be a team player
• Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position
