Wash Bay Attendant

JOB TITLE: Wash Bay Attendant
LOCATION: Grand Prairie
REPORTS TO: Regional Operations Manager

SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday 7am-5pm.Some overtime and some weekends required.

WAGES : Hourly. Commensurate with skills and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and washes exterior and interior of company vehicles including trucks and trailers
• Vacuum, clean windows, dash, console, and any other part of vehicle or equipment that requires cleaning
• Monitor operation of cleaning machines and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occur
• Use materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes and cloths
• Keep wash bay area clean
• Keep cleaning supplies in orderly fashion
• Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove containers from work areas
• Other tasks as assigned by manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age 18
• Locals only. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
• Must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends
• Must be able to operate pressure washer and vacuums
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Must be able to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly
• Must be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder, and work with hands and arms for long periods of time
• Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment
• Experience working in a similar job is preferred
