Job Title: Press OperatorJob DescriptionThe Flexo Press Operator is responsible for supporting the goals of the plant in the efficient operation of the printing machines, printing labels to specification, and assuring that quality is maintained consistently. You will be producing complex high-value wine and spirit labels with multiple embellishments.ResponsibilitiesAssemble jobs as per requirements (Job Record, Job Docket).Check all components for the next job.Coordinate with the 2nd operator to ensure all components of the job preparation list are checked off.Run the press and assist with press setup, running, and cleanup.Work with UV ink, solvents, and various print-shop chemicals.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating and setting up Flexographic Press Machines.3+ years of experience as a Flexo Press OperatorMust have experience with wet paintStrong attention to detail.Ability to read and understand a job docket.Ability to input data into a computer.Mechanically inclined with previous offset press experience.Strong math skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with offset presses and offset printing.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility with shift timings.Why Work Here?Enjoy a range of benefits including paid holidays such as New Year’s, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday, or 3rd Shift, from 10pm to 6amwith a 30-minute paid lunch break.
