Annual Salary: $183,400 - $207,100*

OVERVIEW:

Nugget, a direct-to-consumer kids furniture brand, is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Marketing & E-commerce to set strategies and oversee execution to drive brand awareness, consideration, and conversion. You will leverage your deep understanding of the DTC landscape and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities, guiding the team in translating insights into impactful marketing initiatives, enhancing our digital presence, and ensuring a seamless customer experience on site to drive sales and loyalty.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Strategic Leadership & Oversight

  • You will partner with Senior Marketing and Creative Leadership to develop innovative and effective marketing strategies.
  • You will lead your team to translate our Brand vision into integrated marketing and eCommerce plans that drive brand love and growth.
  • You will co-develop and oversee partnership, content, and awareness-driving strategies to elevate brand visibility.
  • You will guide the team to establish a clear roadmap of site and UX/UI optimizations with the goal of maximizing time on site and driving conversion.
  • You will lead and oversee the creation of a comprehensive dashboard outlining the health of marketing efforts and the business.

E-commerce & Digital Marketing

  • You will partner with the Director of E-commerce to evaluate and implement advanced digital marketing technologies aimed at enhancing the user experience.
  • You will provide expert knowledge in eCRM, loyalty programs, site merchandising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and personalization efforts to drive revenue growth.
  • You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs), providing recommendations based on results.
  • You will support and expand the team's existing knowledge in e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • You will set strategies for communications campaigns, working with the Director of Marketing to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging.
  • You will orchestrate the marketing calendar, crafting strategic campaigns and initiatives that foster brand loyalty and drive sales.
  • You will oversee various marketing channels, including paid media, influencer, PR, and partnerships, ensuring performance tracking and real-time optimization to meet KPIs.

Team Development & Management

  • You will lead, develop, and support the Brand Marketing and E-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • You will make recommendations for new roles and/or resources needed to deliver on our growth plans.
  • You will oversee high-level management of agency partners, including recommendations for their selection and scope.
  • You will provide ongoing leadership support, performance management, regular Check-ins and 1:1’s, semiannual Reviews, and guidance for your team.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have 8-10 years of progressive experience in digital marketing and e-commerce roles, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • You have a strong background in e-commerce, with experience in B2C and direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments.
  • You have experience in managing and collaborating effectively with UX designers, web developers, and analytics experts.
  • You have proven expertise in utilizing user behavior analysis, A/B testing, and other metrics to identify and capitalize on opportunities for optimization.
  • You have a deep understanding of paid media strategies, SEO best practices, and their impact on digital marketing performance.
  • You have a proven ability to lead a high-performing team, providing strategic guidance and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • You leverage analytical prowess to drive decisions, complemented by a deep appreciation for creativity in marketing innovation.
  • You have a strong bottom-line orientation and can push yourself and others to achieve results.
  • You anticipate future trends and create competitive strategies that show a clear connection between vision and action.
  • You are passionate about finding new and better ways for the Marketing team to innovate.
  • You can anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • You approach work with a “no job is too small” attitude, and have a curious mind - always willing to learn and grow.
