FP&A Analyst
Dallas, TX - Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)
**Compensation range: $100-130K + discretionary bonus**
One of Vaco's PE-backed clients is looking to bring on an FP&A Analyst as part of a newly created position to assist with deal flow and capital planning. This will be part of a midsized team in a complex environment with a ton of intercompany entities and transactions more complicated than average at a global scale.  As such, they are looking for someone that loves a challenge, enjoys puzzles, and likes to read.  They need to be constantly learning and able to build rapport quickly with other departments to be able to extrapolate the information they need to forecast and budget
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare detailed financial models to support business initiatives and evaluate potential investments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, providing financial recommendations to drive performance.
  • Analyze trends and variances in financial performance and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the business.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in aviation.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, financial software).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
