Project Description:
The project involves maintaining and extending a standard business platform into a business productivity platform. This productivity platform will be used across 4,000+ websites, including some of the top 10 most visited sites in the world.
We are looking for highly passionate senior-level front-end/user experience engineers with a keen sense for design. Ideal candidates are collaborative, great communicators, have a sense of humor, and are critical thinkers. They should feel comfortable challenging and being challenged on architecture, best practices, and open source. We are open source minded and industry driven.
Responsibilities:
- Next-gen design/development that will affect all 5000 web properties (sites)
- Leading the build of custom enterprise HTML/CSS frameworks
- Writing vanilla JavaScript using industry best practices and design patterns
- Experience in user experience, coding for user interaction, and web page animations
- Web (possibly mobile) scalability, maintainability, reliability, and performance
- Ability to work in highly agile and collaborative environments
- Understanding of tools such as:
- Grunt – a JavaScript build tool
- Progressive Web Applications
- Gulp - task build/run
- CSS Pre-processors (Less and Sass)
- Git
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Accessibility
- Enterprise-class applications
- React.js/Angular.js
