Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager trains and supervises the daily activities on the floor to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely. The Warehouse Manager supports the General Manager in administrative tasks and drives organizational initiatives.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics.
  • Partner with Ramp employees in order to meet operational goals.
  • Proactively monitor the work of employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, and quality meet or exceed standards.
  • Confirm proper and on-time delivery.
  • Manage warehouse inventory.
  • Preserve warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor.
  • Motivate and lead the warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks.
  • Conduct required company audits and ensure continuity and compliance at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Support in employee retention, evaluation, and training.
  • Conduct and document incident/accident reports including root cause analysis when applicable.
  • Maintain employee schedule, including employee follow up via phone or email.
  • Engage in employee relations, fostering an organizational culture of safety, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience driving safety initiatives.
  • Experience in operational planning and resource allocation preferred.
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred.
  • Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents.
  • Must be able to write reports and correspondence.
  • High attention to details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Sheets and Docs.
