Shipping Clerk (2nd Shift)

Candidate Source has a direct hire opening for a Shipping Clerk in Chester, VA. This position is with a Richmond based trucking/logistics firm that provides warehousing and transportation services to a variety of distributors and manufacturers. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm - (Monday-Friday & some Saturdays...40+ Hours per week)
• The client is also willing to offer part time for the right candidate. This would be from 5:30pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday)

• Process inbound and outbound paperwork for truck drivers. Most paperwork is completed by hand
• Distribute workload (pick/pack orders) to forklift operators
• Work closely with the other shipping clerks and forklift operators
• Use SAP, EWM, and Pinc systems to organize all finished paperwork
• Use Microsoft Excel to build spreadsheets and input data

• Previous experience working in a warehouse in a clerk role is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience using SAP systems is preferred
• Must be organized and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/blue collar environment
• Must be ok working in a dusty environment
• Previous experience working 2nd shift is preferred
• Valid driver's license
