Manufacture and work all tooling associated to the shop floorAbility to troubleshoot tooling and dies that do not meet machine specifications or operational capabilitiesProcess rework orders, tool inspections and other necessary machine work to support factory operationsMaintains inventory levels of required tooling and suppliesEnsure that dies are kept in proper operating conditionTransfer die from holding area to wash tankDie is to be opened and visually checked before and after washing to check for worn or dull punches, form and die componentsVerify die repair ticket for comments from die setter operator and qualityMaintain and follow all IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures that are applicable to this positionEnsure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established environmental, health, safety, quality and compliance standardsEnsure continual improvement in all areas of operation through employee development and involvementIf needed, sharpen, repair or replace die sectionsEnsure die is tagged with "OK to use" tag after completion of all document listed under work instructionMonitor die sections kept in inventory and order as requiredWork with die setters making die adjustmentsFabricate die components as requiredPerform machine inspections including daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasksAssists in assembling and maintaining set-up tool kits
