Overview:
Join our vibrant and growing tea company as an Interior Designer, where your creativity will bring our vision to life! You'll support the design of exciting new locations, ensuring they reflect our unique brand while meeting all operational and budget requirements. This role is perfect for someone passionate about design and project management, overseeing 10-20 projects yearly. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team and external partners to make our tea spots the go-to place for our community.
What You'll Do:
- Turn ideas into reality by translating our US vision into design documentation, and collaborating with our design team in Asia to produce final results.
- Craft innovative site designs that embody our brand's spirit across regional markets.
- Skillfully negotiate with regulatory agencies to maintain our brand's high standards.
- Work closely with architectural and civil consultants to create compelling planning submittal packages for city review.
- Hire and oversee the work of outside consultants, ensuring top-quality construction documents.
- Present your designs to our internal leadership team, operations, regulatory agencies, and landlords.
- Collaborate with Construction and Real Estate teams to manage our store development pipeline.
Who You Are:
- You bring 5+ years of experience in architecture and design, preferably in retail or hospitality.
- You have a knack for preparing and managing development projects, including specific plans, zoning code amendments, design standards, and construction documents.
- You have a unique ability to bring others' visions to life in realistic ways.
- You have a portfolio of beautiful and innovative design work that showcases your creativity and excellence.
- You're a problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple projects effortlessly.
- You're a leader who excels in communication and collaboration.
