Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Finance Corporate Planning (OPEX) to support our corporate functions, including Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, and Finance. The ideal candidate will lead a team of remote and hybrid analysts, prepare financial materials, manage assumptions related to salary and fringe benefits, analyze headcount, and oversee our equity program expenditures. We aim to foster a positive, inclusive, flexible, creative, and results-oriented department and are looking for a leader who can drive these initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a team of remote and hybrid analysts, providing guidance and oversight to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and yearly actuals, forecasts, and budget materials for corporate functions.
  3. Provide variance explanations on monthly actuals, identifying key drivers and trends to inform decision-making.
  4. Handle and update assumptions loaded into the financial system, particularly those related to salary and fringe benefits.
  5. Analyze headcount data and prepare reconciliations explanations.
  6. Manage equity program expenditures, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Stock Options (SOs).
  7. Develop ROI strategies and leading practices.
  8. Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
  9. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasting.
  10. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  11. Hire, coach, and mentor staff to achieve success, fostering a collaborative and inclusive high-performance culture.
  12. Handle adhoc requests as needed by the business.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  2. 5-7 years of proven experience in corporate planning, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  3. 2-3 years of management experience preferred, including managing global and remote teams.
  4. Flexible and can pivot as business needs change.
  5. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing remote/hybrid teams and fostering a positive work culture.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Adaptive, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
  10. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  11. Interest or background in the gaming industry is a plus.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below: $147,900 - $221,900 USD
