We are currently developing lithium resources across global locations, with a significant focus in the USA, alongside projects in Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Argentina and have a long-term strategy to develop mineral refinery and battery manufacturing.
Having recently relocated our head office to Houston, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to be part of our progressive journey. This role reports to the Managing Director and GM People & Culture and will provide support our USA team and global operations that includes planning, designing and implementing HR programs, policies and processes. The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in shaping our organizational design and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key position functions include:
- Develop, maintain, improve and implement human resources policies and procedures according to local requirements/needs and corporate guidelines in the USA and all global locations.
- Work closely with the management by providing them with guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR services and keeping management abreast of issues that may affect operations.
- Collaborate with the management in all locations to drive key HR related processes including but not limited to sourcing and engaging, talent management, performance management, Employee Relations, career development and organization development, and provide feedback to management and recommend changes.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, improve our culture and increase retention.
- Proven ability to work in different cultures with an adaptable approach to influencing in different regions.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive, engaged environments for all employees across various locations and cultures.
- Previous experience with monitoring and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in various countries, and recommended best practices.
- Work with Compensation and Benefits to ensure competitive programs are in place to attract and retain talent.
The Preferred candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
- 10 + years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of five years in a HR leadership role.
- Good understanding of business strategy and the ability to create an HR strategy to align with business operations.
- Solutions focused with the ability to act proactively and with a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience in a USA Global company with locations in multiple countries is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
