Sales Development Representative (SDR)
We're seeking an energetic, personable sales development representative (SDR) to support our sales effort into investment banks, other financial institutions, and Fortune 1000 companies.
Your primary task will be to qualify potential opportunities for Wall Street Prep’s account executives. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a regular, predictable pipeline by building a weekly list of new leads using LinkedIn, Zoominfo, web research.
- Prospecting to that list through a combination of prospecting, cold-calling, and e-mail marketing.
- Qualifying leads by understanding their needs and educating them on Wall Street Prep’s value proposition.
- Working closely with account executives to hand off leads that have been qualified.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of prior outbound sales experience.
- Demonstrable record of exceeding sales targets.
- BA from top university or college.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, through email, and phone.
- Abundant energy and curiosity for sales and customer psychology.
- Interest in financial news and investment banking in particular.
- ‘Hunter’ mentality in seeking out and qualifying prospects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools and research.
- Proficiency with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+).
- A resume (include GPA).
- Writing sample - must be at least 500 words and can be anything that you have written in the past including a school paper, article, blog post, etc.
