QA Engineer

Title – QA Engineer

Location – Remote

Hire type – Contract (6+ Months, Extendable)

1. Bachelor’s Degree (CS, EE), or equivalent experience required
2. Master’s Degree, preferred
3. 4-6 years of industry experience in coding in testing and test methodologies.
4. Strong in QA process, process definition and execution.
5. Strong working knowledge on test automation tools for back end/UI
6. Strong working knowledge of agile/waterfall SW methodologies
7. Work experience on one or more Test Automation tools (Cucumber, Postman, TestNG, Selenium)
8. Work experience with Scripting Language (Python)
9. Strong written and oral English communication skills
10. Process-oriented, self-starter, self-motivated individual
11. Knowledge of NMS/EMS/OSS is a plus

1. Understand the overall project, understand phase-wise requirements
2. Involve in requirements gathering, analysis, and definition
3. Understand test planning strategy
4. Regression strategy, non-functional testing
5. Functional testing post integrations/customizations
6. Staging through lab/test, pre-production, production
7. Test automations
8. Generate and own User guides for integrations
9. Work on testing tasks for phases/integrations
10. Automate testing using test tools, scripts
11. Responsible for quality and timely deliverables
12. Coordinate with project manager, other leads, and team members to provide optimal solutions
13. Rework on test plans for various integrations
14. Rework on user guides for various integrations
15. Working with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality
16. Work with engineering team, RA team to manage defects/bugs
