Summary:

Directs the strategy, integration, management, and operations of Pre-Hospital MetroHealth (MH) in addition to supporting the ProMedica Transportation Network (PTN) program. Provides oversight of operations at all Pre-Hospital operations which includes all Metro Life Flight and ProMedica locations, EMS, and Event Medicine in collaboration with physician, nursing, and administrative management teams. Supports the executive director for the direction and coordination of all activities within Pre-Hospital in accordance with the mission, strategic, and financial goals and objectives in accordance with MH's mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Meets one of the following:
  2. Master's Degree in Nursing and 3 years of progressively responsible management experience, which encompasses program planning and analysis and financial and operational management in a healthcare or healthcare consulting environment.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of progressively responsible management experience encompassing program planning, analysis, and financial and operational management in a healthcare or healthcare consulting environment.

Demonstrated respect, leadership, communication, mentoring, customer service, excellent interpersonal and technological skills, and experience working in a team and with multi-disciplinary groups.

Extensive knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, manpower planning, supervision, and operational analysis.

Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate a variety of projects.

Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred:

Progressive operations management experience in pre-hospital environments, especially in multi-site systems.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents.
