Sales Account Manager
We're looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team at Primient. This role involves building and managing relationships with regional and national distributors, developing sales strategies, and driving business growth. The position requires experience in account management, a strong understanding of strategy and execution, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal departments. The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of value-added food ingredient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building, developing and managing relationships with distributors
- Developing sales strategies aligned with overall product line strategies
- Driving account penetration and managing key customer relationships
- Developing and executing account plans
- Communicating customer needs and market insights to internal departments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in account management/relationship management
- Previous experience in raw materials or ingredients to large scale, B2B manufacturing companies
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel 30 - 40% of the time
