We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThis position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.The Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly is responsible for supporting all technical aspects of the value stream including but not limited to Finishing, Assembly, Metrology, and other aspects to meet the customers' requirements.The following essential job functions are performed as Assembly Manufacturing Engineer:Works directly with internal teams to give technical guidance.Provides feedback on designs and drawings for manufacturability and specification complianceIdentifies opportunities for process improvement in both manufacturing and design standardsInvestigates and evaluates new technologiesChampions quality standardsManages and communicates changes to best practices and standards across the companyAssist with manufacturing plansIdentifies areas of improvement in final assembly and manages initiatives to completionChallenges convention to foster innovative thinkingReviews and ensures internal standards and customer requirements are being followedInteracts frequently with shop floor to ensure project health; have a daily presence on shop floorShall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisorsMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the jobPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation programEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field is required. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and SAP.Experience working with all aspects of tooling fabrication, including Fabrication, milling, and assembly, in a lean manufacturing environment required.Demonstrated leadership capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office software is requiredMust be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearance.Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GEDMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION *Salary range for this role is between $68,000 - $145.000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
