- Scheduling manufacturing jobs to be produced in a timely and efficient manner (Don’t stretch jobs out)
- Maintenance scheduling and record keeping for all machines (Continuity/Maintenance logs)
- Material receiving, Material inventory, Tools organization
- Production quality & parts tracking
- Direct Communications with Manufacturing Manager, periodic communication with Sales
- In addition, as a leader you will be required to fill in as needed for front line production in the shop
- Operation of specialty machines to produce custom parts within the customer's desired specifications
- Diagnose problems and make necessary adjustments without having to be told
- Perform and lead the performing of preventive maintenance functions to drive machine uptime
- Supervise, Coordinate and execute material handling to be processed Record information such as number of work pieces processed, tested, machine readings and dates and times of product production
- Coordinating operations and activities within or between shifts and other functional areas
- Interpreting engineering specifications, prints, and job orders to workers and assigning jobs between areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by Manufacturing Manager
- Know how to Operate or general operation of assigned equipment
- Fully buy in and participate in continuous improvement activities
- Take action with quality problems so the Flow Department minimizes waste or reworking production lines
- Know when to use and where to find GP&C Operating Systems
- Enforce Employee compliance with Maintaining work area for safe operation and cleanliness
- Enforce Compliance for GP&C employees with all safety rules
- Know how to Record and report production data
- Know how to Analyze data and production reports
- Supervise or perform Set up and change over equipment
