Jr. Quality Engineer - ManufacturingDirect Hire - On SiteBase QualificationsMust have a desire to learn and grow within the organization.Associates Degree / Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering OR Equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of quality related experience.Experience in Manufacturing and QA/QC engagementExcellent organizational skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)Proficient in document controlSuperior listening, oral and written communication skillsPrecise attention to detail including accuracy and integrity of informationPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of ISO-9001:2008 or 2015, and AIAG Core Tools to support APQP/PPAP submittalsDemonstrate ability to plan and conduct internal QMS audits as a lead auditorA-620 CIS or ISO9001 Internal Auditor Certification is a plusEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist the Quality and HSE Manager in revision of the Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ISO 9001:2015 certificationConducts activities, such as, risk assessment, process studies, and process validations to improve prevention and containment of product failures supporting APQP/PPAP submissionsWorks closely with design and manufacturing engineers to develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing quality plansInspects raw materials, incoming materials, outgoing productsInteract with project managers, operations managers, manufacturing engineers, and assembly technicians to oversee and resolve issues of concernMaintain quality records associated with all inspections, including non-conformances, and corrective/preventive actionCompiles customer incident reports for product containment inspections, failure analysis and repair -- including photographs and detail of work performedFacilitates autopsy/return of non-conforming materials and supporting documentationConducts audits on material and processesPrepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and makes recommendations based on findingsResponsible for working safely in support of customer requirements.Interact with Purchasing and Suppliers on quality related issuesMay participate in lean improvement events, such as quick kaizensRepresent the organization on quality matters to suppliers and customers in a timely and professional mannerParticipates in third party audits, including regulatory (UL, CSA), customer, and registrarDetermines quality improvement parameters by identifying testing method and samplesEffectively present information and respond to questions from groups of supervisors, peers, vendors, customers, and the publicMethodically step through "5-Why" to identify root causes and solve problems, dealing with a variety of changing situations under stressContinually evaluates methods and recommends processes that add value to the products and servicesResponsible for a safe work environment```{=html}``` - Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion
