Job Title: IT Director or Manager

Location: Frazeysburg, OH (with occasional travel to Pataskala, OH)

Salary: Negotiable; Dependent upon experience

Position Summary:

Oversee the IT department operations, personnel, projects, and budget supporting three manufacturing facilities with local and international remote users. Must exercise discretion in executing essential functions and be able to work independently, following through on assignments with minimal daily direction to ensure maximum system uptime and security. Must be able to evaluate department effectiveness and advise top management on change.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or another related field.
  2. Experience in a supervisory role with relevant IT job history.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Management, development, and training of IT staff. Team and relationship building, coaching, and mentoring. Annual reviews.
  2. Identifying, planning, scheduling, and execution of IT projects including network, equipment, software, and services.
  3. Budget and vendor management. PO requests and approvals.
  4. Data center management.
  5. Problem and conflict resolution.
  6. Helpdesk, licensing, and asset management. Patching and upgrades. Imaging. Encryption technology.
  7. Change management. Defining metrics and developing reports.
  8. Define and adhere to standard operating procedures. Manage QMS IT requirements per ISO9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.
  9. Audit, preparation, review, and participation.
  10. ERP/MRP systems, workflow processes, automation and IoT technologies.
  11. Report generation and delivery, policies, and procedures.
  12. Incident response and disaster recovery. Cybersecurity management including Ransomware prevention and remediation. Offsite replications. System backups.
  13. Site security system support and administration.
  14. International support of PCs, tablets, cell phones, telephones, email, virtual environment, cyber security, antivirus, multifunction printers, label printers, scanners, peripherals, remote support, antivirus, email, and network.
  15. Machine network and data collection. Network switches, firewalls, authentication, VPN, monitoring, alerting, and cabling.
  16. Performs other duties as required to support IT (i.e. communication devices, digital displays).

  1. ERP and database administration (with real-time connectivity).
  2. Windows server 2012 and above.
  3. Active directory. Group policy. Account reviews.
  4. Office 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  5. MS TEAMS meeting and calling.
  6. Zero Trust Security framework.
  7. Multifactor authentication methods.
  8. Endpoint Protection and Email security products.
  9. DNS configuration and administration.
  10. Digital workplace technology, switches and wi-fi.
  11. NAS storage with RAID technologies.
  12. Virtual Environment with site-to-site replication.
  13. Primary physical data backup system and execution.
  14. Helpdesk software management.
  15. Engineering software administration: CAD, PLM, minitab, controls, and cloud-based project management.
  16. IoT support.
  17. VPN management.
  18. TSC label printers, Zebra scanners, and Zebra tablets operational support.
  19. Digital signature software administration.
  20. Expense reporting cloud-based software administration.
  21. Security camera and entry system administration.
  22. Website domain administration.

  4. Excellent analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking, planning and execution skills.
  5. Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.
  6. Ability to develop staff including coaching, mentoring and performance management.
  7. Expertise in budget planning and financial management.
