The Account Director oversees the account and various projects for our clients. This senior role involves overseeing the creative, strategic, and operational direction to deliver excellence. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, developing relationships, and strategies to increase service offerings. The Account Director is also responsible for the overall financial performance of the account(s) and ensuring the achievement of budgeted profit.

Must have recent Life Science experience and experience in product launch to be considered for this role!

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. A combination of work experience and education can be substituted.
  2. 5+ years of experience in Account Management
  3. 4-7 years sales or project management background
  4. Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing production service delivery or a sourcing role
  5. Strong subject matter expertise in Creative Production or Sourcing
  6. Working knowledge of campaign management and content production across all media channels
  7. Understanding production and versioning of TVC elements, digital and social execution, print (including direct mail, literature), Press and Out of Home (OOH)
  8. Experience with Project Management, Workflow, and Digital Asset Management technology
  9. Experience with the billing cycle from invoice generation to accounts receivables
  10. Experience in more than one media type
  11. Demonstrate ownership and management of one or more P&Ls

JOB DUTIES

  1. Oversee one or more account teams
  2. Manage the team to ensure the delivery of BAU operational excellence
  3. Manage the day-to-day client relationship
  4. Identify opportunities to develop the account
  5. Directly responsible for account P&L, analyzing where time is spent on the account.
  6. *Conduct diagnostic meetings with existing clients for process audits along with issue tracking and resolution
  7. *Provide support in crafting responses to RFIs/RFPs and SOW's
  8. *Provide quotes and build client pricing schedules
  9. *Seek opportunities to expand service offerings
  10. *Conduct budget review meetings with the client as needed
  11. Ensure regular communication with clients and manage client expectations
  12. Be the senior point of contact and escalation point for the client
  13. *Plan yearly scope of work/budget with the client
  14. *Oversee the management of project/campaign details from start to completion
  15. Train the client on how to use internal Tag systems as required
  16. Identify opportunities to expand the business
  17. Succession planning- Oversee the growth and management of staff
  18. Oversee the creation of Management Information (MI) regularly, including metrics for KPIs and SLAs
  19. Monthly reporting
  20. Provide input for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) content

Per New York state requirements, this posting reflects the salary range for this position for a New York based individual: $110k-120k per annum. Compensation varies depending on job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs. For all other states, please inquire with the Tag Talent Acquisition Team.
