If this piques your interest, read more below and apply today!ResponsibilitiesControls all activities in the revenue cycle functions. Manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies. Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances. Creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts. Audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgetsEssential Responsibilities/Job DutiesReviews aging reports to resolve denial of claims and for high dollar accountsProvides direction in the collection of all assigned accountsCommunicates any issues and problems related to aging reports and collectionsNotifies management of problems and issues with the department as they ariseImproves processes within department emphasizing quality and efficiencyProvides leadership in developing and implementing solutionsProvides training of system applications and technical support of all Revenue Cycle systems in the areas of collections, claims processing and reportsOversees the training of new staffOversees the electronic and manual billing processing of claimsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree of accounting, finance or Business Management or any equivalent combination of education and experienceThree to five years supervisory experience requiredAt least five years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have working knowledge of financial software programs.
