We're Hiring: Behavior Specialist to join our Northern Virginia Team!
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Train and support staff to implement effective behavior programs.
  • Analyze behavior data and present findings at interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Create a positive support environment with adaptive strategies and materials.
  • Assist in compliance with documentation and quality assurance.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
Locations Covered By This Position : Alexandria, Annandale, Springfield
Annual Compensation: $44,761.60
The ideal candidate for this position would currently be in school for behavior analysis and needs supervision or someone who has graduated and needs supervision.
Requirements
Who You Are:
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in a related human services field with three years of experience, or a Master's degree with two years of relevant experience.
  • You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • You are dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of functional assessments and behavior plan development.
  • Certifications such as BCBA, BCaBA, or PBS Facilitator are a plus!

Physical Demands: You should be able to lift, provide physical intervention when necessary, and assist with direct service care.
