Job Description

ISN is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee a government contract with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and delivering high-quality results on time. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years' experience managing a professional staff performing a variety of customer service, accounting and auditing functions in insurance operations, pension operations, banking operations or similar financial operations.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in managing a call center and associated customer service task.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring system processing, including interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, tracking and working automated workflow items.
  • Minimum experience of two software cycles based on requested system updates/enhancements.

Desired but not required:

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing automated invoice processing and subsequent collections through lockbox, Electronic Funds Transfer payments and Pay.gov.
  • Demonstrated experience investigating suspended transactions, unusual data trends, and other data inconsistencies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff through monthly accounting period close processes. Demonstrated experience updating formal procedural documents based on protocol changes.
  • Experience with PBGC (Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation) is preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration/management, economics or information systems
