Job Summary:
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth, enhances brand awareness, and positions our product as the leading solution in the content marketing space. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in B2B marketing, a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, and a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns. Experience working within or alongside digital marketing agencies is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and drive cohesive marketing efforts.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, using data to refine strategies and drive decision-making.
- Enhance brand positioning and messaging to effectively communicate the value of our product to target audiences.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, including webinars, whitepapers, case studies, and industry events, to establish the company as a leader in the content marketing space.
- Leverage experience with digital marketing agencies to build strong partnerships and optimize marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a SaaS company.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and achieve business objectives.
- Strong understanding of content marketing, digital marketing channels, and best practices.
- Experience working within or closely with digital marketing agencies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
