Job Description

As a Senior Social Analyst at Razorfish, you will be joining our 80+ person social discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice.

In this role, you will be a Social Media Analyst & Creator working on a major FinTech client making social-first content that breaks through feeds across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and X.

This important job specifically focuses on creating trend-led social content while working alongside social strategists, community managers and a creative director to mine trending hashtags, cultural moments and community responses - and generate content that places the brand into the conversation in relevant, engaging and timely ways.

Additionally, this position focuses on the planning and execution of content across multiple platforms, while also ensuring the flawless execution of publishing across multiple platforms. You will coordinate with various teams to understand and influence social strategies, plan content calendars for multiple handles, secure creative assets, and develop copy. You will also ensure all content is properly tagged and posted void of any errors.

Note: targeting candidates with FinTech, Retail and/or B2B experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help spot relevant trends happening across social channels - specifically TikTok, Instagram and YouTube in collaboration with the team.
  • Concept social content ideas - including creating mood boards and storyboards to convey your idea and creative approach.
  • Work with a producer to bring your content ideas to life - which could range from re-mixing existing brand assets to shooting low-fi content of product from your phone or capturing content at an event activation.
  • Editing your content and applying things like text overlays, emojis, and music.
  • Ideating around bigger campaign activations in collaboration with the creative director, partner agencies and the client’s in-house creative team.
  • Providing ad hoc support around real-time content creation needs as they arise.
  • Plan and manage content calendars for multiple social profiles across all platforms.
  • Maintain and evolve publishing strategy across social platforms.
  • Work closely with the Editorial team to develop content plans for various social handles - ensuring maximum visibility and reach of content assets.
  • Review and approve all social assets and post copy from Editorial team - ensuring 100% accuracy prior to publishing.
  • Develop copy and identify appropriate hashtags to accompany video/static content.
  • Be aware and accountable for engagement/growth goals, campaign performance, content reach and optimization strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience working in social marketing in a creator or publishing role - in house at a well-known brand or with a well-known agency.
  • Expert understanding of all major social platforms, their formats and their features - especially TikTok and Instagram.
  • Proven experience making social-first content and video.
  • Experience publishing content flawlessly and managing complex content calendars.
  • Ability to create post copy that is SEO optimized and will grab people’s attention in the feeds.
  • Ability to use insights and data to inform content planning, content mix and post timing.
  • Strong video editing skills including expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and CapCut.
  • Strong graphic design skills including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.

  • General understanding of social analytics and what makes content spread across social feeds.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and process-driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly.
  • Good interpersonal skills and highly collaborative attitude.
  • Keen eye for detail is a must.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Dall-E, Bria, Google Imagen and MidJourney is a major plus.

Compensation Range: $72,500- $97,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
