Job Description

• Manage monthly demand and sales forecasting process in close collaboration with the sales teams.
• Own the Demand Review for monthly IBP (S&OP) cycle and meetings.
• Develop detailed understanding and ownership of each channel’s demand
• Develop analysis models by channel and platform for key insights and recommendations
• Analyze, identify, and implement tools and opportunities for improvements to the forecasting process. Improving both the efficiency (streamline) as well as the effectiveness (accuracy) of the process
• Liaise with Sales Directors to update the latest estimates each month: Latest estimates by month for remainder of the year
• Liaise with Supply Planning to update and inform important changes to demand.
• Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, establish parameters for forecast exception and making appropriate revisions
• Monitor existing and incoming inventory; determine causes of excess inventory as well as inventory shortages
• Create launch forecast templates for Channel Managers, tracking, analysis, postmortem of special and new product launches
• Create monthly Sales & Inventory tracking and KPI reports
• Communicate Rolling 12-Mo demand needs for capacity planning
• Manage monthly Inventory Aging and SLOB evaluation and recommendation
• Lead ongoing SKU rationalization process

Qualifications

• Highly analytical, driven, and curious
• Able to work cross functionally at all levels
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an analytical field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience.
• Experience in working within a S&OP (IBP) process.
• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting and data analysis.
• Excel super user, experienced with PowerPoint.
• Experience working with NetSuite ERP.
• Experience implementing Demand Planning Tools
• CPG, good/beverage background.
• Applicable supply chain certifications/credentials (such as APICS), highly preferred.
