Position: Lead Market Intelligence EEN - reports to central insights & analytics team, works closely with the revenue management team

Location: We are open to consider Associates based in all Europe East North countries

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for industry FC for the Hub, embedding market and customer dynamics
    • Understand the market evolution and dynamics (sell-in and Sell-out, stocks etc) to build a concrete and accurate FC to support hub level demand plans
    • Provide data/ fact-based inputs in DSO discussions to support hub plans and actions
    • Represent GY in Tire manufacturers forums (aka. ETRMA) to drive better and deeper quality of data
  • Responsible for providing market (Industry dynamics, GY group and competition) analysis for the HUB to highlight gaps and opportunities
  • Lead detailed ‘root cause’ analysis to understand market and brand movements and highlight areas to focus on (beyond day-to-day analysis utilizing performance dashboards)
  • Highlight major Industry/adjacent categories development across countries in HUB, leveraging different sources of data needed (car park, fitment, mobility reports, LMC etc.) and implications for the product portfolio
  • Supports trade marketing and RM team with insights on retail/channel development (e.g. Spaghetti charts, channel level analysis)
  • Mapping competitive intelligence - New product launches, Promotions (align with TM team), pricing, competitive tie ups
  • Track performance KPIs to highlight the effectiveness of actions taken in market and recommend areas to focus – more skewed towards commercial business
  • Responsible for managing the data availability, quality, comparability and readability across all countries of the HUB
    • Managing interaction with main local data suppliers to ensure quality of data
    • Identifying new sources of quality data to fulfill business intelligence gaps
    • Checking robustness of data across time and sources
  • Building capability on Analytics tools and solutions
  • Providing the right support/training when needed for newcomers to the role
  • Ensuring proper cascade and utilization of tools, guidance or best practices provided on brand, market or customer analysis by regional CI&A team
  • Supporting regional CI&A team in building business facing tools and solutions on BI

MAIN INTERACTIONS

INTERNAL

  • Work with Hub GM and RM team to highlight the industry and market evolution trends to support the HUB sales plan and actions
  • Work with Trade marketing team to highlight channel trends and opportunity and gaps to focus on (Channel level analysis not customer specific)
  • Work with brand performance manager to support him with market level inputs during brand audits process and any deep-dive support (need based)

REGIONAL CI&A

  • Work with Regional CI&A team to refine the EMEA industry FC to support DSO, AOP, RvCC planning
  • Support Regional CI&A team with market level deep-dive as and when needed to understand business issues
  • Work with Regional CI&A team to support development of business intel. Tools and dashboards (inputs to drive design, testing, embedding)

EXTERNAL PARTNERS

  • Work with Data suppliers/3rd party to ensure quality of data inputted into the Business and fill knowledge gaps in line with business priority

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Data Science or Marketing.
  • Comfort in operating with numbers and numerical analysis.
  • Executional drive. Confident, structured personality.
  • Capability to understand customers and internal teams needs.
  • Experience working with external partners.
  • Knowledge of forecasting tools and data visualization software.
  • Product and industry (automotive, transportation, logistics, leasing) knowledge is a plus.
