This position works remotely in the Core Diagnostics Division.

What You’ll Work On

The DHS Sales Manager leads the commercial team for the Digital Health Solution Business at the designated region. Execute a clear strategy to profitably grow market share and revenue and meet or exceed plan commitments. Collaborate with and has dotted line responsibility for other functions and other Business Units who also leverage Digital Health Solutions.

Major Accountabilities

  • Manage assigned Digital Health Solutions P&L and regional non-Instrument revenue to ensure business functions drive operational efficiencies, and improve Gross Margin & Division Margin to meet the financial profile.
  • Develop and execute an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin commitments.
  • Lead regional organization of >=4 direct reports plus dotted line support; ensure team is equipped with the appropriate training and resources for success.
  • Identify customer needs and support team to demonstrate the value of customers leveraging Digital Health Solutions products and services.
  • Create demand by identifying new products and solutions that are customer-centric with the potential to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other functions to evaluate the value and feasibility of introducing new or customized products and services.
  • Engage regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure effective relationship between districts and alignment on priorities for dotted line support.
  • Join team members for field travel on a regular basis to assess business opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide coaching to all employees.
  • Develop a high-performance team, by acquiring, developing, and retaining top talent; drive a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a focus in healthcare/medical, life sciences, IT or medical technology is preferred.
  • Experience leading & executing complex (multi-stakeholder/multi-year) contract negotiations.
  • 5+ years in sales roles with demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to ensure they work together to deliver results.
  • Proven track record in gaining market share or growing the market and/or renewing/defending existing business.
  • Travel up to 65%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Direct sales experience in the Diagnostic industry.

Background

  • Experience leading & executing simple to complex (multi-stakeholder/multi-year) contract negotiations.
  • 4+ years in sales roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to ensure they work together to deliver results.
  • Previous exposure with IT technology within a healthcare environment.
  • Communication skills and teamwork skills in working with internal/external stakeholders is essential for the role.
  • Proven ability to influence an effective consultative sales approach to uncover customer pain points and provide value-added solutions in a complex pathology and IT environment.
  • Highly motivated, result-driven individual, with strong problem-solving skills and track record of driving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong ability to pivot and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced high growth environment.
  • Preferred sales experience and knowledge of the Diagnostic environment involving multiple levels of decision makers and the understanding of a complex selling cycle.
  • Sales or consulting experience with software or digital solution selling preferred.
  • Experience in total solution design (TSD) preferred.

Compensation

The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 – $250,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
