Title: Entry level to Principal Structural Engineer

Our engineers work on challenging multi-million dollar projects that vary from residential, commercial, industrial structures and bridges, inspecting, evaluating and designing structures for both private and public clients. SUMMARY OF ROLE
We are seeking multiple Structural Engineers from entry level to Principal level to perform inspection for bridges and fall protection equipment, assist in performing structural analysis and design of buildings and bridges leading to the production of construction documents, and coordination with other disciplines under the guidance of our Senior Engineers. The ideal candidate is someone who is well-rounded, passionate to learn, and shares our vision of making our firm distinct from the others. He/she should be self-motivated, energetic, willing to learn and take ownership of the project from the start to the end.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct onsite meetings with clients and other disciplines.
- Complete onsite inspections, field data gathering, and prepare field engineering reports.
- Perform structural analysis and design using current building codes and standards.
- Prepare and review drawings, engineering reports, and calculations.
- Sketch design details and produce permit documentations.
- Respond to plan checks to obtain building permits.
- Support post-design phase service.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
REQUIREMENTS
In addition to an understanding of the field of civil/structural engineering, candidates must possess superior organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service.
We are seeking candidates that have completed or demonstrated the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Knowledge of subjects in concrete, wood, masonry, & steel.
- 1-15 years of experience in Structural Engineering
- Strong project management and organizational skills, and able to liaise with internal/external sources.
- Exceptional written, verbal and listening communication skills with a can-do attitude.
- Proactive and able to produce a high level of work within specific time constraints to deliver projects on time and on budget to our clients.
- High integrity and able to work independently and collaboratively with others while representing the company in a professional manner.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative design to provide client cost-effective solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented person who can juggle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, & Outlook.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, RISA, & SAP2000.
- Team player with the confidence to take the lead when necessary, from project planning, design, to project completion.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, including tasks that require walking or standing on platforms approximately 40 feet above ground level and up to 150 feet above ground.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time to support business needs as required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
