This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Project Procurement Specialist for our Los Angeles, CA or any other WSP offices.

Your Impact

  • Support division's sourcing capabilities and supply chain.
  • Responsible for supporting negotiating with suppliers and vendors to acquire the best value/most cost-effective deals.
  • Support division's purchasing including drafting Master Service Agreements, notices to proceed, purchase orders, and task orders for construction and consultant services.
  • Support overall project management office with contract related duties.
  • Vetting and onboarding of prospective vendors and subcontractors.
  • Support client proposal/bid efforts with subcontractor/vendor related activity.
  • Maintaining District procurement tracking files for distribution and shared filing.
  • Act as subcontractor liaison for contracting, subcontracting, and insurance certificates.
  • Support the development performance risk ratings of contractors and evaluation of cost and pricing data.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, public administration, legal studies or equivalent.
  • 7-10+ years of project related work with procurement, subcontractor invoices, etc.
  • Proficient with the various phases of the project procurement life cycle (Pre-award, award, and post-award).
  • Prior project procurement/administrative experience.
  • Works well under in a fast-paced environment and able to handle change in priorities.
  • Availability to work outside the normal work schedule.
  • Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of United States Postal Service (USPS) Supplying Principles and Practices, USPS Flowdowns and DOL Wage Rates.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $114,000 - $153,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
