Reports to – OS&D Manager

Job Summary: The Regional OS&D Specialist should be a liaison between the Purchasing, Receiving, and Accounting departments for all things related to inbound vendor shipment discrepancies.

Job Duties:

  1. Scanning/Auditing inbound shipment documents including, but not limited to, shipping notifications, packing slips and Bills of Lading into our system.
  2. Support receiving team to appropriately identify inbound receiving discrepancies/errors.
  3. Effective communication between different departments and vendors to resolve shipment/invoicing discrepancies.
  4. Work closely with the Receiving Manager(s) to resolve discrepancies when needed.
  5. Communicate with the Purchasing Agent on inbound receiving discrepancies when needed.
  6. Review camera footage for any discrepancies when needed.
  7. Responsible for all the receiving discrepancies/errors within the assigned network.
  8. Assist in cleaning up any excess material in the receiving area.
  9. Process RTV PO’s related to our RGA’s procured by customer service.
  10. Additional tasks at your manager’s discretion.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a track record of being a results-oriented person.
  2. Must be an effective communicator up, down and across the organization.
  3. High school diploma (or equivalent); college degree preferred.
  4. Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
  5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus.
  6. Must have a positive, hard-working attitude.
  7. Ability to establish priorities, work independently and with little supervision.
  8. Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents.
  9. Analytical ability including basic math skills.
  10. Must be detail-oriented and hands-on ‘roll up the sleeves’ type with aptitude for multi-tasking and adapting to a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
  11. Must have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to direct, coach, support, and delegate to associates.
