Construction Estimator

Senior Construction Estimator Position:

Mission: The mission of the Maron Construction Co., Inc. Estimator will be to gather and analyze the information from blueprints and specifications to estimate the cost of a project as accurate and competitive as possible while consulting with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers. The Estimator will be responsible for building a healthy backlog while ensuring profitability and growth for the company.

Outcomes:

• Establish a streamlined estimating process that utilizes up to date technology and software and decreases the time dedicated to individual bids
• Identify key bidding opportunities that are aligned with the company’s culture
• Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors etc. to get the best pricing available for the project 
• Develop accurate bid proposals that include all pricing for but not limited to labor, materials, subcontractors

• Some knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical System drawings
