In full growth mode, we have just launched a search for a System Analyst to join our team at corporate headquarters.
Summary of Position:
You will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, configuration, and reliable operation of the company’s systems and Point of Sale. Primary position responsibilities include the maintenance of membership and inventory databases. This position will provide support for daily POS operations to ensure proper performance and up-to-date features to drive store performance. Work with store personnel to verify systems are functioning as intended. Requires excellent communication skills and knowledge of store operations and store systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide high-touch technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems and software.
• Update and maintain detailed external and internal IT documentation as well as inventory management.
• Directly impact the efficiency of our company and team by seeking out and eliminating repetitive tasks
• Develops solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Work with management team to understand the business and operational needs and configure the POS system to meet those needs
• Maintain POS membership and inventory databases
• Prepare inventory, membership, and financial reports
• Coordinate equipment, staff for quarterly inventory, and reconcile inventory on-hand counts
• Remain current on retail technology and recommend changes to achieve company goals
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and work with POS vendors and/or third-party technicians on issues needing assistance
• Work closely with applicable staff to ensure they have a good understanding of system functionality and processes
• Establish and refine processes and procedures related to position and improve efficiencies
• Work with IT Department to create and execute long-term strategy
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
• 3 years of demonstrable systems experience, restaurant industry preferred.
• Possess a good understanding of fast casual operations and processes; experience with hospitality point of systems a plus
• Learn and adapt to new applications/systems quickly
• Critical thinking, proven problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
• Previous customer service experience strongly desired
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Handle constantly changing workflow; remain productive during slower periods and be able to multitask during fast-paced times
Education Requirements:
• Relevant bachelor's degree (Computer Science) is preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Relatable MIS or IT certifications are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time – In Office
Pay: $75,000 / year
PLEASE NOTE: The corporate office is currently located in Woodside, Queens, however we will be moving to Garden City, Long Island in October of 2024
