As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to define and execute the vision for a set of products that are critical to Alto Pharmacy's ability to provide exceptional pharmacy services at scale. You will drive technical innovation and leverage your deep understanding of the healthcare industry to guide the development of cutting-edge solutions that revolutionize how pharmacies operate in the 21st century.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring Alto's success in delivering unmatched pharmacy services by:

  1. Defining and owning the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall technical and business objectives
  2. Collaborating closely with engineering teams to architect and build scalable, robust, and secure systems that power Alto's pharmacy services
  3. Leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to continually optimize and improve product performance and user experience
  4. Fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging the team to push boundaries and explore new technologies and approaches to solve complex problems
  5. Serving as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, providing expert guidance and recommendations on product direction and investment priorities
  6. Working with marketing, PRs, legal, and compliance to commercialize Alto’s solution.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 8+ years of technical product management experience, working on cloud-based distributed software solutions.
  3. Experience working with technical products that include front-end and complex technology stack in the healthcare, operations, or logistics industry
  4. 8+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
  5. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  7. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members
  8. Background working and collaborating with engineering and data teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Technical background, MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
  2. Experience building products in the area of healthcare, health, or e-commerce preferred
  3. Startup and entrepreneurial experience preferred
Additional Physical Job Requirements:
  1. Read English, comprehend, and follow simple oral and written instructions. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.   4. The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., phone conversations)
  5. Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  6. Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $180,722 – $225,903
Commission Eligible: No
Equity Eligible: Yes
Travel: Yes – Required up to 20% of the time.
Location: Remote (San Francisco or Seattle preferred)
Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, and New York.
