Academic Advising:Provide academic advising for students individually and in groups. Lead academic advising and orientation meetings, as well as informational sessions for various stakeholders (e.g., parents). Accurately and efficiently guide students in their coursework planning for registration and 4-year plans. Ensure adherence to UT and CNS policies and procedures.Teaching and Curriculum Development: Work as part of a TIP instructional team to develop, teach and assess the first-year seminar course and other TIP related courses. This work primarily occurs fall semester.Student Staff Supervision and Support:Support the management of a Peer Academic Advising staff, including recruitment and training of student participants.Special Project and Committee Work:Coordinate special projects for the betterment of TIP Scholars students and programs, and represent TIP staff on CNS or UT committees.Other duties as assigned, including supporting special projects and staffing events within CNS.
