Job Description

To work closely with the Rooms Director and Assistant Front Office Managers to oversee the Front Desk staff, ensuring maximum Front Office operating efficiency. Managing and problem solving associate and guest issues while remaining professional at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee all aspects of Front Office, Guest Services and the Ideal Services department.
  • Hire, train and guide all newly hired front office associates.
  • Ensure front office SOP and hotel wide SOP's are being followed and uniformly and fairly administered.
  • Continuously monitor for overall front office department culture enhancements and associate motivation and service.
  • Communicate with all departments on a continuing basis to ensure service levels are a 10 rating.
  • Handle all guest complaints maintaining a satisfactory impression with the guest on resolving any complaints.
  • Computer savvy with all necessary front office operations systems and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to all Systems & Controls of the Front Office and appropriate areas of responsibilities.
  • Complete departmental scheduling and payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor department labor and productivity.

Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years directly related experience (Hotel-Front Desk) in a managerial role.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have excellent organizational, supervisory, and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work well under stressful situations and handle challenges in a professional manner.
  • Must have a 4 diamond presentation.
