**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year in the related nursing specialty preferred. Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a Perinatal setting is preferred.
**License:** RN License in state of employment or compact.
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Current certification from NCC in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or completion of specific AWHONN courses.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within specified timeframe post-hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within specified timeframe post-hire.
**Must-Have:**
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
**Job Description:**
- Independently practice as a competent nurse in similar clinical settings.
- Provide routine and complex care with a focus on long-range goals or plans.
- Manage clinical nursing contingencies and make appropriate assignments for other care providers.
- Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care.
- Evaluate patient care and treatment, including reassessment and documentation.
- Plan and facilitate patient flow, including admission, discharge, and transfer needs.
- Educate on operations, ethics, and regulations in the healthcare industry.
- Promote a safe environment leading to positive patient outcomes.
- Use, inspect, and ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical procedures.
- Ensure accurate health information documentation and effective communication across patient care.
