LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our client's engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge products. The Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering department, ensuring the successful design, development, and production of industrial and consumer products. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in both design and manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of new products and improvements to existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals, and initiatives that align with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the engineering team.
  • Stay current with advancements in engineering technologies and methodologies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on the design and manufacture of industrial and/or consumer products.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in an engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
