Staff Accountant - Growing Public Accounting Firm

Our client, located in Downtown Atlanta, GA is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will provide auditing and tax compliance to assigned clients.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise audit engagements in a variety of industries.
2. Develop and execute audit programs by documenting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing test procedures associated with the audit scope.
3. Perform technical accounting research as needed.
4. Prepare clear, concise workpapers and other communications.
5. Plan, coordinate and oversee client tax compliance services: Work with international clients from both a corporate and individual perspective; Organize multiple client engagement projects.
6. Effectively delegate and oversee the work efforts by setting goals, providing resources and removing obstacles.
7. Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities.
8. Provide timely training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associates.

Required Qualifications

1. 2-3 years related experience in public accounting.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation.
3. CPA license or parts passed.
4. Excellent research, writing and communication skills in English.
