We seek a dynamic and experienced Director, Supply Chain Sales Overlay, Retail to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the successful adoption and utilization of Anaplan for supply chain planning across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain processes, Anaplan capabilities, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Your Impact

  • Drive new business for Anaplan's SCP Applications, supporting the field in selling to the Anaplan client base and prospective Anaplan clients across the Americas.
  • Support Application opportunities post Stage 0.1 as the Supply Chain and Application SME.
  • Own the Application pricing for opportunities, including positioning, preparation, and approval.
  • Support the sales management process (sales calls, deal reviews, SFDC, tracking, etc.).
  • Accurately report on forecast/pipeline for Application ACV.
  • Strategically orchestrate resources both internally and externally throughout the sales process.
  • Support outside-in/BVS metrics derivation and ROI calculations in a sales cycle.
  • Lead Supply Chain and Applications enablement content and delivery for the field in your region.
  • Contribute towards competitive positioning and preparation of battle cards.
  • Feedback to our Product team from your sales/industry/customer experiences.
  • Collaborate on marketing, events, analyst interactions, etc., in the Supply Chain domain.
  • Collaborate on Supply Chain Customer Advisory Boards.
  • Be prepared to lean more heavily on large, strategic accounts as the trusted advisor.

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of successful selling into big company space.
  • Experience in selling Supply Chain Management & Planning solutions is essential.
  • A solid retail background is essential.
  • A strong Supply Chain background is essential.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions, either directly or through a Big 4 consulting firm preferred.
  • Experience selling to Supply Chain Planning buyers and decision-makers.
  • Consultative selling skills (questioning, listening, handling call dynamics, managing objections, closing for next steps).
  • Strong presenter, both in person and virtually.

Base Salary Range: $190,000 — $257,000 USD
