Senior Data Architect – Data Modeling focus

Dallas, TX (uptown) – onsite 3 days/week, remote 2 days/week

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect, with strong data modeling skills, to improve our current data posture on what is a leading real estate analytics platform. You’ll spend a lot of your time developing data models using a variety of canonical techniques and industry best practices.

This is a highly visible role that has significant impact across thousands of users impacting billions of dollars in assets and revenue.

What you’ll be doing

• Data modeling in accordance with industry best practices
• Work across a range of product initiatives requiring guidance in data architecture and implementation
• Review architecture direction for new data implementation or updating of existing data structures.
• Collaborate closely with global counterparts to ensure the uniformity and best standards of deliverables across the organization.

Skills we’re seeking

• 7+ years of experience with Data Architecture and/or Data Modeling
• Must have strong experience with data modeling, including logical and physical data models
• Must have experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin
• Must have experience with data modeling techniques such as 3NF, dimensional, etc.
• Must have experience building ER diagrams
• Experience with cloud-based OLAP systems, ideally Snowflake
• Must have strong SQL Server, Azure SQL or PostgreSQL experience

Nice to have experience

• Azure experience, ideally with depth in Azure data services
• Experience working on analytics platforms
• Experience working in the real estate industry
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an IT related field
