CT Technologist
Full-time, 40 hours
What you will do as a CT Technologist:
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs quality Computed Tomographic (CT) imaging used to aide in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and pathology.
- Possess the experience and ability to perform a variety of procedures at a technical level that requires independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to operate CT machines according to protocol using ALARA principles.
What you will need as a CT Technologist:
- High school graduation or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA or JRCERT approved school.
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Advanced Certification in Computerized Tomography is preferred. Applicant must possess CT Advanced Certification within one year of date of hire.
- Toshiba 64 slice or higher experience preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist and a minimum of one year of CT diagnostic imaging experience preferred. BCLS required.
- The applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and co-workers on a professional level. Must have knowledge and understanding of cross sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
