About Our Client
Our client is one of the most well known names in Indianapolis and across the region. They are known around the industry for their outstanding company culture and how they treat their people. They specialize in the Commercial space and are in need of an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their growing team.
Job Description
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Explore specification/drawing documentation in order to gain a understanding of the project requirements
* Develop estimates and bids for construction projects
* Visit sites necessary to do the estimate
* Perform complex analysis of collected data to provide customer's solutions
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key clientele and/or general contractor
* Work with the sales team to prepare proposals
* Assist in competitively procuring material; perform a detailed review of the bids received to enable the buyout of the project at or below the amount(s) in the original estimate
* Attend all required company meetings
* Represent the company in a professional manner
* Comply with all company policies and procedures
* Support the company's safety policy
* Maintain confidentiality of company and client information

The Successful Applicant
* Five years of applicable construction experience
* Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred, although not required
* Possess an OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
* Complete successful drug, MVR, and background screenings
* Willing to accept responsibility to acquire specialized training and continued education
* Strong knowledge of roof assemblies, application and design preferred
* Able to read, understand, and navigate through blueprints
