Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a reputable company in the foodservice and beverage distribution industry to find an experienced Marketing Director! This role involves overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of all marketing programs across various platforms. This role is crucial for driving sales, customer leads, client retention, and brand recognition, aligning with company core values and long-term business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Oversee departmental performance and identify and solve potential roadblocks.
- Supervise marketing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Set and communicate departmental goals aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain a long-term marketing strategy.
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute marketing roadmaps to support sales growth and brand awareness.
- Manage, develop, and coordinate marketing and creative staff.
- Communicate business cases for marketing programs and recommend campaign tactics.
- Direct social media engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales materials and campaigns.
- Analyze data to evaluate marketing efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create marketing materials for all public-facing and internal communications.
- Execute multichannel campaigns ensuring alignment of communications and messaging.
- Manage the annual marketing budget.
- Gather customer and market data to inform outreach strategies and generate leads.
- Conduct presentations on marketing concepts, programs, and budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of B2B marketing trends and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and creative thinking skills.
- Proficiency in budget management and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with graphic design, web design, and social media trends.
- Experience in developing successful marketing plans and campaigns.
- Strong project management and decision-making skills.
- Metrics-driven with a creative mindset.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred.
- Minimum five years of marketing experience.
- Minimum three years of direct management experience
- Experience with complex marketing programs and data-driven results.
- Proficiency in Salesforce with the preference of implementation knowledge or experience.
